PopulationAdults and pediatric patients age 2 years and older covered by the approved indication
Dose1 mg for patients age 12 years and older and for children age 2 to under 12 weighing at least 45 kg; 0.5 mg for children age 2 to under 12 weighing less than 45 kg. A second dose from a new device may be given after 15 minutes if there is no response.
RouteSubcutaneous injection in the lower abdomen, outer thigh, or outer upper arm
FrequencySingle rescue dose; one repeat dose after 15 minutes if needed while awaiting emergency assistance
