BioHarmony score

NOVOS Core is a twelve ingredient longevity powder built around 1,100 mg of calcium alpha-ketoglutarate, the metabolite shown to extend female mouse lifespan by about 17% in Cell Metabolism. No trial has tested the finished formula in humans, so its longevity claim rests entirely on ingredient level evidence.

In the news this week: NOVOS.

Read Nick’s assessment Why it earned this rating

NOVOS Core is a benign, transparently dosed longevity powder that is easy to take and hard to get hurt by, but its central promise, slowing aging, is unproven in humans as a finished product, and several of its longevity actives are underdosed. The practical verdict is that NOVOS Core earns a low "worth trying" score as a convenient daily foundation for someone who values single-scoop simplicity and printed doses, and who is not paying a premium expecting a demonstrated anti-aging effect. Those who want proven results per dollar should look elsewhere. The pterostilbene LDL signal from Riche et al. 2014 and the animal-only fisetin data from Yousefzadeh et al. 2018 are the two facts that most temper enthusiasm about NOVOS Core.

✅ Best for: People who want a convenient, all-in-one daily longevity foundation and will pay for that convenience and NOVOS's transparent, no-proprietary-blend dosing; and magnesium-deficient or frequently stressed users who will feel the magnesium and L-theanine inputs. NOVOS Core also suits anyone who prefers a single scoop over ten separate bottles, people who value that every dose is printed on the label, and those in the NOVOS ecosystem who will use its epigenetic testing to track whether their biological age actually moves.

❌ Avoid if: You are pregnant or breastfeeding, since the full combination is untested in those groups; you take warfarin or another anticoagulant, given the glucosamine and ginger bleeding-risk signals; or you take prescription lithium, thiazide diuretics or ACE inhibitors, which reduce lithium clearance. Also skip NOVOS Core if you have a shellfish allergy and are uneasy with the shell-derived glucosamine warning, or if you want proven results per dollar and would rather buy a few well-dosed single ingredients, which cost far less as bulk powders.
