Bjoern Woltermann is the CEO and founder of Katalyst, the first FDA-cleared full-body EMS suit for home use in the United States. He holds a master's degree in international economics with a focus on game theory. After chronic back pain from 150+ annual flights led him to discover EMS training in Germany, he spent 4 years navigating FDA clearance to bring the technology stateside. Under his leadership, Katalyst has grown into a hardware-enabled software and content platform with hundreds of guided workouts across strength, power, cardio, and recovery modes.
