A professional photographer who authored 17 books on light, he pivoted to health technology after reversing his own pre-diabetes, low testosterone, and depression through sunlight, movement, and targeted light protocols in just 4 months. Based in El Salvador, Gutierrez designed MitoLux to be the first portable LED panel combining UVB, red, and multiple near-infrared wavelengths with built-in safety features like distance sensors and Fitzpatrick-calibrated programs. His mission is to make full-spectrum light accessible to every household, not just biohackers.
