Nick’s Daily Stack
My real protocol: the supplements, devices, and morning routine that survived years of testing, bloodwork, wearable data, and more than one extended fast. When my data changes it, this page changes too.
- ✓ Tuned against bloodwork + wearables, years of n=1
- ✓ Light gear verified with a professional spectrometer
- ✓ Living page, updated as the data moves
THE CORE
What Never Leaves the Stack
These earn their spot every single day.
How this page works: click any product title to go straight to it. Some links support Outliyr at no extra cost to you.
AX3 Astaxanthin
1 cap daily
The pigment that lets salmon swim upstream for days, and one of nature's strongest antioxidants. It concentrates in skin and eyes, so my daily sun exposure builds resilience instead of damage. This is the one I keep when I cut everything else.
Vitamin C
3,000-5,000mg daily · 2 doses · away from training
The workhorse behind collagen production, adrenal output, and immune defense. I split it into two doses because your body caps what it absorbs at once, and I keep it away from workouts on purpose: flooding antioxidants around training can blunt the very adaptations you trained for.
Black Lotus Shilajit
Liquid tincture · first thing most mornings
Dozens of trace minerals plus fulvic acid, which shuttles them into cells that would otherwise let them pass right through. This is the base layer everything else builds on: first thing in my body most mornings, and the very first thing I added back after my last multi-day dry fast.
RnA ReSet ReMag + ReMyte
Two liquid formulas · daily
Ionic minerals, the form nature serves and your cells absorb without a digestive tax. Introducing chelated minerals in large doses always carries side effects, even when you can't feel them. These come from the doctor who popularized magnesium, and the difference is one you can feel.
EnergyBits Spirulina/Chlorella
50/50 tabs · 25-30 most days
Nature's multivitamin in tablet form: chlorophyll, dense micro-protein, and B vitamins from spirulina, while chlorella binds to metals and toxins on their way out. Feed the system and take out the trash in one handful. I crunch 25 to 30 tabs most days, more around detox work.
AminoCo EAAs
2 servings daily, or 10g bulk powder
All nine essential amino acids with virtually no digestion required. This is how I hold onto muscle through fasted training and multi-day fasts: the raw building blocks arrive without a metabolic bill. Muscle is the organ of longevity; this is its insurance policy.
Paleovalley Bone Broth Protein
1 scoop daily · ~3.4g glycine
Grass-fed, organic, and doing two jobs at once: collagen peptides for connective tissue plus a therapeutic dose of glycine, the amino acid modern diets barely supply (we eat the muscle and skip the skin and bones). Your body reads it as food, so it uses it. I stopped buying glycine separately.
BiOptimizers Stress Guardian
Adaptogen complex · or my own DIY blend
One rotating adaptogen complex instead of six half-used bottles. Adaptogens work by nudging your stress response toward balance, and the catch is that any single one fades with constant use. Rotation keeps the nudge working, which is exactly why this category cycles (see below).
LVLUP Health Creatine
Daily · upgraded form
An upgraded form of creatine: high-purity, and formulated to dramatically enhance brain absorption. Most people dose creatine for muscle. The newer research suggests your brain may benefit even more: memory, processing speed, and resilience when sleep runs short. Strength and cognition from one daily scoop.
All-in-one longevity formula
Daily or 5+ days a week · brands rotate
A comprehensive longevity formula runs near-daily; what rotates is the brand, because I'm always testing this category. My current pick is LVLUP Health Longevity: it packs multiple longevity pathways into one formula, including an orally bioavailable form of epitalon, one of the few compounds believed to support telomere length.
Paleovalley Essential Electrolytes
Daily · doubled around fasts and training
Every nerve signal and muscle contraction in your body runs on these minerals, which makes electrolytes one of the most underrated longevity categories. This one is derived from organic whole foods (the potassium comes from coconut water, not a lab), full-spectrum, magnesium-rich, and it tastes like it shouldn't be good for you.
Nootropic complex
Most days · rotating favorites
The cognitive base under my deep work: sharper recall, cleaner focus, and no 3pm crash to pay for it. I rotate so no single formula loses its edge. The current rotation: Qualia Mind (the 20+ ingredient staple), Paleovalley NeuroEffect (fully natural, whole-food mushrooms), LVLUP NeuroRegenerate, Transparent Labs Dopamine, and Nootopia's custom blends.
THE REGULARS
Not Daily, But Always in the Cabinet
These run on their own clocks, deliberately.
HealthGevity Protect 5
Every 2nd-3rd day · never on training days
Bioavailable vitamins A, D, K2, and E, the fat-soluble team that guards bones, arteries, hormones, and cell membranes. I deliberately skip it on training days (vitamin E may blunt the adaptations you just earned) and space it out, because fat-soluble vitamins accumulate. Bases covered, nothing overdone.
Hormone support
Occasional cycles
Two tools for two jobs. Inner Body Labs Testosterone Support is the clinically-dosed route: KSM-66 ashwagandha at the studied 600mg dose, 400mg of concentrated 200:1 tongkat ali, and maca, on a zinc, D3, and K2 base. That base is also why I cycle it carefully: it overlaps the fat-soluble vitamins and minerals I already take.
LVLUP Botanabolic is the multi-pathway botanical play: tongkat ali, shilajit, and fadogia agrestis working the brain-to-gonads signaling chain from several angles at once.
Transparent Labs BULK pre-workout
2-3x weekly · training days only
My clean pre-workout of choice: every dose on the label at clinical levels, zero artificial sweeteners, zero dyes. Enough to sharpen a heavy session, never enough to tax sleep. Kept to 2-3 uses a week on purpose, because a pre-workout you take daily is just a caffeine dependency with a price tag.
BiOptimizers MassZymes
Digestive + proteolytic enzymes
The protein you absorb matters more than the protein you swallow. MassZymes stacks full-spectrum digestive enzymes with high-potency protease, so protein-heavy meals break down into usable amino acids instead of sitting as gut load.
THE ROTATION PHILOSOPHY
Everything else runs in courses, with an end date. Adaptogens rotate in blocks so they keep working. Gut work (enzymes, probiotics, butyrate) runs as protocols. Binders on exposure days. Longevity compounds cycle with my bloodwork. If you take everything daily, you’re not running a stack, you’re running an expensive habit.
THE DEVICE ARSENAL
The Part Nobody Else Has
Supplements are the visible half. The bigger levers in my day are light, gas, current, and vibration.
RLT Home panel + Kineon Move
Near-daily photobiomodulation
Red and near-infrared light feed your mitochondria the wavelengths modern indoor life stripped out: more cellular energy, faster recovery, better skin. The full-size panel handles whole-body sessions near-daily; Kineon's laser-grade diodes go deep into cranky joints.
Solshine bio bulbs + mini panels
Running constantly while I work
Standard LEDs hammer you with a 450nm blue spike your biology never evolved under; it quietly erodes energy and sleep. These are the only bulbs my professional spectrometer confirms put out true full-spectrum light. They run beside me all workday to offset the damage of screens and overheads.
Mitolux + EMR-Tek Krypton Mini
Controlled UV doses
Most people fear the one part of sunlight their hormones, vitamin D, nitric oxide, and immune system need most. These panels deliver UV in controlled doses, on my schedule, through Austin winters and travel weeks. The full-spectrum thesis, beyond just red.
AquaCure (Brown's gas)
Inhalation sessions while I work
Electrolyzed water split into a hydrogen-rich gas mix you breathe through a cannula. Molecular hydrogen acts as a selective antioxidant: it quenches the damaging radicals and leaves the useful signaling ones alone, which is a distinction most antioxidants can't make. Passive stacking at its finest: it runs while I answer email.
HealthyLine JET PEMF mat
Recovery-day sessions
Pulsed electromagnetic fields plus far-infrared warmth through a bed of natural gemstones. Lying on it is the closest thing I've found to plugging the body back into a charger: circulation up, tension down, and a nervous system that remembers what "off" feels like.
KAATSU BFR bands
Blood-flow-restriction training
The bands safely slow blood leaving the muscle, so a light load reads as heavy to your physiology: a full hypertrophy and growth-signal stimulus at a fraction of the joint stress. Ten minutes of strength insurance on days I don't lift, and a travel gym that fits in a pocket.
TitanBody EMS suit
Whole-body EMS workouts
Electrical pulses recruit up to ~90% of muscle fibers, versus the 40-60% a typical lift reaches, so a 20-minute session works the whole body at an intensity conventional training can't match. It's a big stressor, which is exactly why it earns a spot: maximum signal, minimum time.
Power Plate vibration plate
Minutes before training
Whole-body vibration wakes up circulation and lymph flow (the drainage system that has no pump of its own) and primes muscles before a session. A few minutes standing on it does what a long warmup used to.
Sens.ai
Neurofeedback + resonance breathing
A headset that reads your brainwaves and trains them with real-time feedback, plus guided heart-coherence breathing in the same device. It's meditation with a scoreboard: you can finally see whether the practice is doing anything, and mine says it is.
NuCalm
Rescue recovery · 40+ min sessions
NuCalm holds the only patent for balancing the autonomic nervous system. On the days stress wins, a 40+ minute session drops me into the deep parasympathetic state my body would otherwise need hours of downtime to find. This is the emergency brake in the arsenal.
Apollo Neuro
Vagal tone wearable
Gentle vibration patterns your nervous system reads as safety signals, nudging you toward calm focus without a screen or a substance. I use it as ambient nervous-system support: set a mode, forget it's there, and notice the day runs smoother.
Simply O3 ozone generator
Periodic protocols · proper training first
At-home ozone therapy for periodic protocols. Ozone is a hormetic stressor: a controlled dose challenges your antioxidant systems so they come back stronger. Not a casual toy (learn the protocols first), but a serious tool once you do.
CO2 inhalation rig
CO2 tolerance work · DIY setup
Training your tolerance to CO2 improves how much oxygen your blood releases to tissues (the Bohr effect): calmer breathing, better endurance, sharper altitude of mind. Mine is homemade, but Carbogenetics makes a fine pre-made system.
Analemma Inlay + Natural Action portable
Every glass I drink
Every glass of water I drink is structured first: the Analemma inlay at home, a Natural Action Technologies vortexer when portable. Water is the single largest input into your body every day; I treat its quality with the same seriousness as food.
MY MORNING PROTOCOL
What the Tools Plug Into
The stack works because the rhythm underneath it works. Here’s the sequence.
Mind enhancement session
If I wake before sunrise, I start here. Usually a mind movie: vivid imagery paired with your favorite audio and elevated emotion, to slip new programming past your reticular activating system (the brain's gatekeeper for what it treats as important).
Remineralize
Clean, structured water with minerals before anything else touches my system.
30+ minute sunlight walk
No sunglasses, no sunscreen, nothing between me and the light. (Trying to lose fat? A thermogenic before the walk works well here.)
Lock the highest-leverage outcome
A few minutes of silence on the walk, then the question: if I do this ONE thing, will it make everything else a win regardless of how the rest of the day goes?
Habit stack, always
Woke after sunrise? Same practices, run when I return. Attach each practice to something you already do, rather than hunting for extra willpower.
The rest of the rhythm: 3 strength + power sessions weekly (45-50 min each) · sauna 3-4x per week · earthing with the morning sun · resonance breathing (4-7-8, and 8-8 at 4 breaths/min) · mouth taping · dry brushing · natural water swims when I can · cold exposure 2-3x per week max. I’ve deliberately reduced my cold work over the years. More isn’t better here.
THE POINT OF ALL THIS
This Is MY Stack. The App Finds Yours
None of this is THE stack. It’s mine, tuned against my bloodwork, my wearable data, and years of n=1 testing. The most compelling research describes a group’s average response, and averages may not translate to you. That’s the whole reason I built the Outliyr App: run your own n=1 against your own baseline and get an evidence-graded keep-it-or-drop-it verdict for YOUR body.
