Quinton Water Benefits Review
Quinton Water Benefits Review

99 out of every 100 molecules in the human body is water. All life originated in the ocean and evolved there for at least 2.5 billion years.

Today, however, our water supply sits, receives chemical treatment, and contamination as it travels through intricate labyrinths of plumbing and sanitation systems.

Beneficial compounds evaporate in heat treatment, and city water contains traces of hormones and prescription medication.

The first step is to filter your tap water (my AquaTru review explains why it’s the best and also most affordable reverse osmosis system available) and shower (since you absorb up to 60 percent of the compounds in the water that touches your skin).

Renee Quinton discovered a rare type of ocean water. In fact, it’s pharmaceutical-grade. Long ago, the European Physician’s Desk Reference listed it as a pharmaceutical medicine. Until its efficacy threatened the pharmaceutical industry.

Now, it’s become one of the most powerful (forgotten) tools of medicine.

He found that the closer organisms live to our evolutionary environment, the more resilient they become.

Naturally skeptical, I dug through the research. I talked to proponents of Quinton. I read thorough case studies. I dissected Quinton reviews. Could something so seemingly simple really be the missing link to peak health?

What follows is a brief history of Quinton, what makes it different from other water, the different benefits of hypertonic and isotonic Quinton solutions, and my favorite budget-friendly alternative.

What is Quinton Water?

Quinton is a special form of seawater containing pure marine plasma, trace minerals, and a wide variety of other beneficial phytonutrients.

It is harvested in a precise manner from a specific plankton bloom. The exact process has remained an ancient Quinton family secret. In the late 1800s, Rene Quinton, the father of marine therapy, began researching the intersection of biology and physiology.

He discovered striking similarities between the blood of mammals and seawater.

Rene hypothesizes that illness results from long-term deviations from our ancestral aquatic environment.

By re-introducing that environment, he successfully used it to bring the body back into homeostasis so that it could heal and rejuvenate. Rene Quinton published his findings in a paper called “L’Eau de Mer, milieu organique” and carefully brought together theory and the scientific benefits of Quinton seawater therapy.

Today, practitioners still use different solutions of Quinton in a practice called marine therapy dispensed from “marine dispensaries”.

Still, few people know of Quinton.

Or even the importance of trace minerals.

There are two main types of Quinton solutions, with very different uses benefits, and effects.

Benefits of Quinton Hypertonic vs Isotonic

You’ll have a hard time finding stores that sell Quinton. If you manage to track it down (I’ll tell you where later), you’ll come across two types of Quinton. These varieties appear quite similar, only differing in their composition.

Both tonics bring the body back into balance. Each contains 78 raw, unheated, and preserved trace minerals and elements.

Elements like: magnesium, calcium or potassium in the highest concentration. Minerals like manganese, copper, lithium, vanadium, and zinc in lower concentrations. Quinton also contains amino acids and lipids.

One easily identified and notable difference between the two is the concentration of mineral salts:

  • Isotonic: 9 grams per liter
  • Hypertonic: 33 grams per liter

Isotonic is essentially the diluted version of Hypertonic.

Don’t be fooled, these differences give the two products vastly different qualities, benefits, and uses.

Uses for Quinton Isotonic (Recovery)

Quinton isotonic is used to improve a wide variety of long-term problems. Practitioners like Robert Slovak consider it the “medicine”. Primary it consists of the same molecular composition as human blood.

In fact, Rene Quinton is fabled to have completely (and successfully) transfused multiple dogs within isotonic instead of blood. During World War II, the Allies used it as a blood replacement. Though blood doesn’t contain as many minerals as Quinton.

Benefits of Quinton isotonic include:
  • Supporting normal digestion
  • Enhancing the immune system
  • Balancing cellular nutrition
  • Reduces tiredness
  • Eases hypersensitivities to foods
  • Helps calm nervousness
  • Enhances the normal nervous system and brain function
  • Supports protein synthesis and normal muscle function
  • Helps keep our bones and teeth healthy
  • Supports cell division

Uses for Quinton Hypertonic (Performance)

Quinton hypertonic is the best choice to manage your health in acute circumstances. Practitioners like Robert Slovak consider it the “nutrient”. It is more concentrated than isotonic. A great choice for cognition, energy, and high performance.

Benefits of Quinton isotonic include:
  • Increasing energy
  • Rebuilding muscle
  • Speed up recovery
  • Improves nervous system health by balancing sympathetic and parasympathetic
  • Supports electrolyte balance
  • Promotes normal energy metabolism
  • Maintains full-body homeostasis
  • Re-vitalizes every system and organ
  • Deeply re-hydrates

The Quinton Protocol

Before starting any new supplement or nutrition regimen, always consult with your primary care physician. In this case, I would seek a physician experienced with Quinton.

Your ideal Quinton protocol depends on your goals and current situation. In any case, consistency is the most important factor to get results.

What follows is my personal research and how I’d use Quinton in different situations. This site lists one comprehensive protocol and an alternative for pregnant and prenatal mothers.

Note: Careful about timing. For some, hypertonic can be too stimulating to take before bed. But pre-bed is the ideal time to take isotonic.

General Quinton Isotonic & Hypertonic Use

Month One: on an empty stomach, start with 1 to 2 Quinton Isotonic ampules daily

Month Two: continue Isotonic but add one Hypertonicampule every other day, taken apart from Isotonic

Month Three (& Beyond): begin maintenance program of 1 to 6 vials per week

Where to Buy Quinton Water

To the inexperienced, Quinton appears little more than a super electrolyte solution. With the vast array of phytonutrients, practitioners and their patients know otherwise.

For real, high-quality, and consistent Quinton, you should buy directly from the source. Water and Wellness also offers other forms of Quinton supplements not available elsewhere.

True Quinton is rare, only harvested from one specific part of the world. Lacking supply has driven up prices significantly.

Though you can find it on Amazon (links below), it’s considerably more expensive and prices constantly fluctuate. As explained above, I recommend you get it directly from the source.

If you’re set on purchasing from Amazon for convenience, these are your only options:

CheapSupplement Alternative to Quinton Isotonic and Hypertonic

True Quinton is unmatched in its diversity of nutrients and biological compatibility. Unfortunately, it’s also quite expensive. For the already healthy or budget-aware, I recommend a better value alternative.

It’s an ionic sea-derived liquid trace minerals liquid harvested from Utah’s Great Salt Lake. They’ve quickly become the number one trace minerals supplement.

I use it daily to add minerals to my reverse osmosis water (see my AquaTru review to learn why I spent years seeking the top water filtration system).

ConcenTrace is also a full-spectrum product third-party tested for purity.

If you want many of the benefits of Quinton at a fraction of the price, ConcenTrace is a good alternative.

Quinton Questions & Answers

What is Quinton used for?

Both Quinton Isotonic and Hypertonic water provide the body with hydrating electrolytes, vitamins, and trace minerals. Both strengthen the immune system, boost energy, and help the body maintain homeostasis. Quinton also detoxes the body.

Is Quinton Water Safe?

To be safe for human consumption, Quinton water should be sterilized to remove possible pathogenic bacteria, heavy metals, microplastics, and other pollutants. The EFSA (European Food Safety Authority) and AESAN (Spanish Agency for Food Safety and Nutrition under the Ministry of Health, Consumption and Social Welfare) are two governing bodies that certify products.

Quinton Water Review: Worth the Cost?

Life on Earth evolved in the oceans for billions of years. Comparatively, only recently have we intentionally abandoned our biological aquatic roots. That transition stripped humanity of vital trace minerals and phytonutrients only present in the oceans.

In the 1800s, progressive doctors used Quinton as an adjunctive and also as a standalone to help sick patients overcome dubious odds.

Sea water (and Quinton) is the ultimate electrolyte. Share on X

It worked for all kinds of ailments, including as a substitute for human blood when supplies ran out and soldiers needed transfusions.

Together, the bioavailable solution of nucleic acids, fatty acids, amino acids, antioxidants, polysaccharides, vitamins, minerals and trace elements bring bodily systems back into balance.

Interestingly, it has recently caught the attention of CEOs, athletes like Rafael Nadal, and celebrities like Calvin Harris and Shawn Mendes.

Why?

Today, health optimizers have re-discovered this long-lost solution and used it for its restorative oceanic adaptogenic properties. Some of its uses include:

  • Cellular hydration
  • Boosting workout performance
  • Speeding up recovery
  • Elevating energy levels

If your budget’s tight or you can’t stomach the cost, you can reap similar benefits of the vitamins and trace minerals content from a supplement like ConcenTrace.

Yes, it sounds like pricey seawater.

Actual buyer reviews online tell another story. Should my circumstances warrant, I’d follow the original Quinton protocol.

I hope to see more information emerge as more biohackers test it. For the time being, over to you. If you’ve tried Quinton, let me know in the comments below.
